Job Requirements

Education and Certification:

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Current registration and licensure as a Registered Practical Nurse in the province of Ontario.

Experience and Skills:

• Proven experience working as a Registered Practical Nurse or in a related healthcare role.
• Knowledge and proficiency in administering medications, treatments, and nursing interventions.
• Competence in conducting assessments, developing care plans, and implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
• Familiarity with documenting patient care activities accurately and comprehensively.
• Ability to assess and respond to changes in patient conditions promptly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs.

Clinical Competence:

• Sound understanding of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
• Proficiency in providing safe and competent nursing care across various healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and adherence to established safety guidelines.
• Ability to operate and utilize medical equipment and technology effectively.

Collaborative Teamwork:
